Announcing our new cake: the Triple Delight!

Delight in a one-of-a-kind cake. We're proud to announce our new artisan cake that's as unique as it is decadent. This traditional all-natural Indonesian cake has a moist chocolate layer surrounded by two vanilla layers, with rich carmel butter in between. As always, it's gluten free. It's a perfect cake for a special occasion or simply a gourmet snack.

The cake originates from the Dutch Colonial era in Indonesia and is traditionally called Lapis Surabaya.  It's name is derived from the city in Java Island.

While it is known throughout Indonesia and the surrounding area as Lapis Surabaya, the people of the city simply call it "Spiku." In Indonesia, this is considered a special occasion dessert, generally serves for holidays, weddings, and birthday celebrations.  Many variations have been created, but euforia Confections is sticking with tradition using our family recipe.

Go to euforia confections and give it a try!

Floating Environmental Greenhouse

The floating environmental greenhouse on the Hudson River in New York is educational as well as environmental. Visited by school children and adults this naturally powered greenhouse grows vegetables hydroponically. The plants on this floating environment get all their nutrients from water instead of soil so they can adapt easily to urban environments where soil may be unhealthy, hard to find, or nonexistent. Read more about this incredible floating environment here:
